Russian Riverkeeper
Russian Riverkeeper protects and restores our watershed environment for the benefit of current and future generations.
The Russian River is our region’s most vital natural resource. Our vision is for a Russian River that is healthy, swimmable, fishable, and equitably shared.
Russian Riverkeeper has been fighting since 1993 to ensure a thriving river system and your rights to fishable, swimmable and drinkable waters that are equitably shared.
Unfortunately, clean water is under new attacks from a rapidly warming climate and unsustainable water use. This is a pressing issue because our river and community both rely on clean and reliable water. Now, more than ever, your river needs vigilant enforcement of environmental laws and the care and commitment of people like you.
