Shopping the bulk food aisle is an easy way to avoid plastic packing and reduce the waste you generate. Organic options are often available, and a bonus is that many bulk foods are more affordable than pre-packaged products. Remember to bring reusable containers (ideally with the TARE weight labeled), to put your bulk foods such as rice, beans, nuts, granola, and spices in.
